Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, where your rental car will be waiting for you. First stop : Stellenbosch. Explore this picturesque town so wellknown for its wine industry and its historical buildings. The next day you can follow the wine route and sample some of South Africa's best wines.
From Stellenbosch you travel through the Hexriver valley via Worcester and Robertson to Montagu, which boasts some fine old buildings, but it is best known for the hot mineral springs nearby and its Muscatel wines.
Continue through the little Karoo to Oudtshoorn well known for its ostrich farms and the Cango caves.
The next day you travel via George and the Outeniqua Pass to the hamlet of Knysna on the Indian Ocean. Explore the Knysna Lagoon and surroundings.
Travel Westwards along the coast to Swellendam, well known for its Cape Dutch homes.
The next trip brings you to Cape Town where you will spend 3 days to explore all its well known sites.
You then either return home or fly to Johannesburg, from where you will be transferred to one of South Africa's private game reserves to experience Africa in the wild. We can also book you a stay in one of the magnificent game reserves in the North West province and Eastern Cape, which has the advantage of being malaria-free.
